wiener dog log: epic journey - week #1

traveling 400+ miles in 2 days, we managed to traverse the state and end up in one of our favorite places, smack dab in the middle of the mojave!  we hung out on beautiful BLM land, down CA US 95/havasu landing road-mile maker 13, in "the heart of the mojave", we did some hiking and rock hounding to celebrate joey's birthday.  our private spot in the desert was fabulous with a million $ view of lake havasu and havasu city in AZ.

3 miles down at the end of the road, was the chemehuevi indian reservation and the fabulously cheesy  havasu landing resort & casino, where we spent the last 2 days enjoying our spot right on the lake, got caught up and chores and because we were plugged in with full hook-ups and plenty of water ...i got a bath...not really sure i needed a bath :-/

we capped off the week by making our holidays bright...we decked the hall with a sparkly purple tinsel christmas tree and tiberius is officially ready to celebrate the season...bring it on santa, i've been a good dog!
