wiener dog log: epic journey - week 10

38 days in Texas; we are getting closer to the gulf coast and to checking another item off the bucket list...camp on the beach of those 3 brig Coasts of the contiguous United States!  West Coast=checked that off the list last October, in Oregon at Nehalem State Park.  we are a few days away from the Gulf Coast, specifically Sea Rim State Park...that will put us 1/3 closer to completing another task on the bucket's growing list of stuff to check out!

in the meantime we are hanging for a few days at Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway!  15 minutes in our spot and we met the natives...

it's a male Cardinal that's either looking for a date or is very mad at the bird in the mirror!

tomorrow we will check out the sites a some neighboring state parks, check back soon to see what kind of mischief my humans get themselves in to! in the meantime, i close this post with a few gratuitous flag photos...it's a 30' pole that can be seen from all around the campground, dad is very proud!
