Let’s take a moment and get everyone up to speed…we have been to some pretty awesome places in the past few weeks, awesome places
with no internet connection...so hang on, here we go!
While in King City at the
San Lorenzo County Park, recharging after a week of boon-docking….we
took a side trip to The Pinnacles National Monument, we had a picnic lunch on
the west side of the park and then drove to the east side to see those sites
too!

Side note: National Monuments have the same rules for dogs
as National Parks…no dogs on trails, period (even the easy paved ones) end of
story…hey, I thought I was mans best friend?
Moving on..
Spent a few days in SLO taking care of business; the kind
that requires an internet connection, an rv service center and a
Supercuts. We just happen to trip upon
El Chorro Regional Park while looking for a central spot to
hang. The park features the SLO
Botanical Gardens that we walked through on our own and an amazing dog park, with
toys and water and 2 other wieners of the average variety…Awesome!
Mischief managed, we headed out of SLO on highway 41 towards
Potwisha Campground

in Sequoia/Kings Canyon
National Park. We drove so high on
Generals Highway that we were in the clouds.

There were multiple stops to get a photo op
with the giant trees, but this being a National Park and I being a wiener…you
guessed it, I was not allowed on the trails!
I saw the size of those trees…I was good with it, I can't get my leg that high.
