We finally found the door into summer

We were super excited when we arrived at Lake Mojave and 80+ degree weather, as we literally drove through snow flurry's in the Spring Mountain/Red Rock area just outside of LV, NV.

I took and passed my swimming test on Lake Mojave!  Wiener dogs tend not to be great swimmers, but the 1/4 terror (terrier) blood that runs in my veins seems to give me a leg up on other wieners....I am an above average wiener you know and my humans can't keep me out of the water these days!

We wandered south  and have been hanging out at the Big Bend of the Colorado Rec Area for the last few days, enjoying more warm weather, amazing blue skies and cooling off in the river.

We move tomorrow with an eye on the Jumbo Rocks area of Joshua Tree...we'll keep you posted!
