how to: jeep rescue in 287 easy steps...

what you need:

1 jeep stuck on a hill at a 45 degree angle
95 degree weather
lots of loose red dirt, rock and gravel
700 feet between you and the road
and 1 patient wiener dog...
add:

50' rope
85' tow straps (we had 2; 1@35', 1@50')
2   2-ton come-a-long (not pictured)
1   hand saw - don't ask
1   tire pump/compressor - 12v...yes!
directions:

rig jeep to nearest desert cypress with above equipment and crank like a crazy woman
wash, rinse repeat 286 more times...

viola!!!

after 12 hours over a 2-day period the jeep is rescued and ready for more adventures...
the rest of us took a little longer to recover
we both had a ton of scratches and scrapes too and maybe a little heat stroke
